FAQ's

A wax warmer is essential for melting down wax for use and maintaining the correct consistency and temperature.

  1. Turn on your wax warmer and ready the compatible wax. If using hard wax, pour it directly into the well. Soft wax, remove the lid, and insert your tin directly into the warmer. If using a roll-on, insert your roll-on cartridge into the warmer.
  2. Set your warmer to the highest setting and stir wax to melt. After melting, turn the dial to the temperature indicated on your wax formula to achieve a honey-like consistency.
  3. Test your wax’s consistency and temperature to ensure it's correct before use.
  4. Apply wax to the desired area and remove.
  5. After your session, turn off your warmer, clean excess wax, and store it safely.

Cleaning your warmer is simple. After using all the wax in your warmer, turn the heat all the way up and dump any excess. Use Starpil’s post-wax oil to remove any remaining wax residue. Avoid using chemicals or submerging your warmer in water.

Wax’s melting time depends on the type of wax you’re using. Generally, it takes around 20-30 minutes for wax to melt to the ideal consistency.
