Pink is built for the most sensitive areas of the body — face, bikini line, underarms — where pain tolerance and skin reactivity are highest. The creamy, low-temperature formula softens at a cooler working temp than most hard waxes, so application feels closer to a warm spread than a hot pull.

The hypoallergenic, rosin-free formula skips the most common irritants found in standard hard wax, making Pink a go-to for clients with reactive, easily-flushed, or post-procedure skin. It grips fine and medium hair cleanly without yanking surrounding skin — exactly what you want on a Brazilian or upper lip.

Titanium dioxide gives Pink its signature creamy texture and helps the wax hug even the finest vellus hairs that other formulas miss. Combined with our crystalline Microbead Technology, you get a wax that melts evenly, applies thin, and pulls clean every time.

Pink is best if:
- You do facial waxing, bikinis, or underarms
- Your clients have low pain tolerance or sensitive skin
- You wax over reactive or post-procedure areas (with proper protocol)
- You want a wax that feels gentler from start to finish

Pink Film is built on three formulation choices that work together for sensitive-skin services:

- Rosin-free reformulation. Pine rosin is one of the most common cosmetic allergens in traditional hard wax — removing it is what makes Pink genuinely hypoallergenic, not just labeled that way. Clients who react to other hard waxes can typically tolerate Pink without redness or bumps.
- Titanium dioxide for grip and texture. TiO2 gives Pink its creamy color and consistency, but more importantly it helps the wax hug ultra-fine hairs — including the vellus hairs on the upper lip and cheeks that most waxes leave behind.
- Lower 60–70°C working temperature. Cooler than standard hard waxes (which run 70–80°C), which is why Pink is preferred for clients with reactive or recently-treated skin where heat tolerance is a concern.

The wax itself uses Starpil's pioneering Microbead Technology — small uniform beads that melt fast and evenly, eliminating cold spots that cause uneven application. The result: a wax engineered for the most delicate work in your service menu, where precision and client comfort matter more than speed.

- Rosin-free hypoallergenic formula — safe for clients who react to traditional hard waxes
- Titanium dioxide grip — captures the finest vellus hairs other waxes miss
- Low 60–70°C working temperature — gentler on reactive and easily-flushed skin
- Creamy texture — spreads thin for clean lines on bikinis, brows, and lip
- Pioneering Microbead Technology — fast, even meltdown with no cold spots
- Available in 6 sizes — from 1lb sample to 30lb pro bulk

HOW TO USE

Follow these simple steps to prep, apply, and remove your wax for smooth, long-lasting results every time.

Start Strong

Fill up your warmer halfway and let your wax melt completely. Continue to add wax and consistently stir until proper consistency is reached. Set your warmer to the formula’s suggested working temperature. Recommended Wax Temp: 60–65°C |

You’re looking for a honey-like texture, if you notice it’s runny or stringy, the wax is too hot.

Prep Your Skin

Prep your skin. The pre-wax gel will clean the skin, as well as hydrate it. Once applied, remove any excess product with a clean, dry cotton round. Powder is not used in the Starpil method.

Application

Spread the wax evenly in the direction of hair growth, pressing firmly so it fully adheres. At the end of your strip, leave a slightly thicker edge — like a small lip or tab — that you can easily grab onto for removal.

Removal

Once the wax has set, hold the skin taut and use the lip/tab to lift the edge. Pull the strip back quickly and firmly, keeping it close and parallel to the skin (not upward) for the smoothest results.

Post Wax Care

Apply Starpil's post-wax lotion followed by our post-wax oil. The lotion will hydrate and calm the skin, while the oil locks in that moisturizer and removes any wax residue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are gentle, but they solve different problems. Pink is built for delicate, detailed work — face, bikini, underarm — where you need precision and low pain. The titanium dioxide texture grips ultra-fine vellus hairs that other waxes miss. Coral is built for sensitive skin types across the body, with active calming benefits from coral calcium that reduces post-wax redness. Pink = gentle on the area. Coral = gentle on the skin. Many pros carry both.

Pink works best on fine to medium hair. For coarse hair (Brazilian, male chest, back), pair Pink with a stronger formula like Blue Film or use Pink only after a few sessions have softened the hair. Forcing Pink onto stubborn coarse hair will leave residue and create a frustrating service experience for both you and the client.

Pink is one of our top recommendations for first-time waxing clients because the low working temp and gentle pull reduce the "shock" factor. New clients are significantly more likely to rebook when their first experience is comfortable. If you're building a beginner-friendly service menu, Pink and Coral are your two anchor formulas.

Melt on max until fully liquid, then drop your warmer to 60–70°C for application — cooler than standard hard waxes. The wax should look like thick honey when it's ready. If it strings or runs off the spatula on your test strip, it's too hot — let it cool 30 seconds. The lower temp is what makes Pink feel different from a typical hard wax service.
