THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUGARING & WAXING?
Though sugaring and waxing seem similar, they have many differences. The biggest difference is the use of hot wax, while the other uses a room-temperature sugar paste.
As far as application goes, wax is applied in the direction of hair growth and removed in the opposite direction. In contrast, sugaring uses a room-temperature paste applied against the direction of hair growth, before removing in the direction of hair growth.
When it comes to repeat use, wax is only used once before disposal, whereas sugaring utilizes a ball of sugar paste which is used throughout the entire process. Sugaring also does not use any strips for removal, whereas some types of wax do.
Though each process is different, both have their benefits and drawbacks depending on your preferences and method of removing hair.
